Age: 12 months 2-15-13

Weight:  21 lbs

Length:  29 inches

Sleep: She goes to sleep by 7pm and wakes up about once a night or sleeps through the night

Favorite Activity: we've practiced walking everyday and she finally took her first steps!!!  2-11-13

Food: breast milk and she's eating what we eat now. 

Milestones: Taking her first steps!!!!

Personality:  she's such and independent baby!!!  I have a feeling she will be a leader not a follower.  She's sassy, stubborn, sweet, funny, loves getting tickled and getting licked by Bella.  She's very curious and is usually getting into all sorts of trouble.  

Favorite Moments:  Her first Birthday was wonderful!!!  She loved getting to eat cake early because she had a smash cake photo session before her birthday!  She definitely got more cake on her birthday than at her birthday party the next day.  Estella took her first steps a few days before her birthday and that was very exciting for mommy and daddy!!!  She's still working on walking but she can definitely do it now!!!  I just can't believe a year has passed by I feel like she was just born yesterday.  I love her more and more everyday and I just couldn't imagine my life without her!!!

11 months

Age: 11 months 1-15-13

Sleep: She goes to sleep by 7pm and wakes up about once a night or sleeps through the night

Favorite Activity: playing with her "stand and walk" or her "stand and play",  she LOVES playing with the dogs and often plays tag with Bella and basically just being all over the place!

Food: breast milk and she's eating what we eat now. 

Milestones: walking around while holding on to things, waving hi and clapping!!!

Personality:  she loves people and usually will smile at anyone that says hi to her :)  She has also become more ornery lately but in a very funny way. My mom likes to say she has a very strong personality and knows what she wants and what she doesn't 

Favorite Moments:  I was so excited when she started waving hi and clapping!!!  She's all over the place so I love watching her try to get out of all the barriers we put up.  I just can't believe she's about to be one.  I can't wait to take pictures of her for her birthday and to see her eat her smash cake.  Fun times are ahead!!!!

Favorite Activity: crawling and pulling herself up!!!

Food: breast milk, fruits and veggies.  Give her bites of our food

Milestones: speed crawler and is a pro at pulling herself up and walking by holding on to things

Personality:  she loves people and usually will smile at anyone that says hi to her :)  She has also become more ornery lately but in a very funny way.  

Favorite Moments:  I love watching my little princess.  She cracks me up all the time.  She loves getting into EVERYTHING!!!  And everything goes straight into her mouth!!!  Some of our favorite moments this month have been Thanksgiving with our families and dressing her up in all her Christmas outfits.  I love Christmas and I'm so happy I get to spend it with her this year!!!

9 months

Milestones: crawling and just now started pulling herself up 

Personality:  she loves people and usually will smile at anyone that says hi to her :)

Favorite Moments:  Catching Estella crawling on camera!!!  She's so much fun right now.  I love this little girl so much and I can sit and watch her for hours.  She is so funny and entertaining and oh so curious about everything especially now that she can get around.  She is definitely a sassy pants because she thinks it's funny when we tell her no!  She's going to be a hand full!

8 months

Sleep: She goes to sleep by 7pm and wakes up about twice a night

Favorite Activity: rolling and standing with help from mommy and daddy

Food: breast milk, fruits and veggies

Milestones: rocking on all fours but mostly she gets around by rolling everywhere

Personality:  she's a little miss sassy pants but she continues to be the most happy little baby!!!

Favorite Moments: We finally got a bed time schedule down!!!!  Right after her 7 months we bought a $30 dollar mobil from wal-mart and OH MY DEAR!!!! it was a life saver. She is successfully sleeping in her own room and she doesn't fight it anymore.  She's an even happier baby now that she sleeps for longer periods of time and takes long naps during the day.  I don't know why it took me so long to just move her to her crib and get a mobil to entertain her till she falls asleep but we're all happy and getting sleep!  My baby girl is just getting so big!!!!

7 months

Sleep: falls asleep closer to 7pm now and gets up couple of times to nurse during the night.  She's having serious separation anxiety and now doesn't like sleeping in her pack and play she wants to be near mommy and daddy

Favorite Activity: Sitting and playing with her toys, eating, bathing, and bouncing in her baby Einstein bouncer

Food: breast milk, fruits and veggies

Milestones: rolling from tummy to back, sitting, grabbing objects, likes to pull herself up on objects, usually us!!!

Personality:  she's a little miss sassy pants but she continues to be the most happy little baby!!!

Favorite Moments: Estella smiles alllll the time and I love it!!! She gives you the cheesiest grin ever!!!

6 months

Sleep: falls asleep closer to 7pm now and gets up couple of times to nurse during the night

Favorite Activity: Sitting and playing with her toys, eating, bathing, and bouncing in her baby Einstein bouncer

Food: breast milk, fruits and veggies

Milestones: rolling from tummy to back, sitting, grabbing objects

Personality:  she's a little miss sassy pants but she continues to be the most happy little baby!!!

Favorite Moments:  I had to start work this past week, which is not my favorite part, but I love how big she smiles when I pick her up from grandma's house.  I love that she's sitting now because I can take her to the stores and restaurants and she can sit in the carts and high chairs.  I love it!!!  But my absolute favorite moments this month have been introducing veggies and fruits to her.  I love the faces she makes when she loves something and when she doesn't ..... so funny!!!!
